Entry Instructions

The Dogwood Track Classic will be capped at 100 schools this year. Entries will only be allowed through Direct Athletics. This will give you the maximum amount of flexibility and control over your entries while allowing us to save time and ensure accuracy.

1) Go to Direct Athletics and follow the directions to enter your athletes.

You will enter TWO athletes per event via Direct Athletics.

2) In 2010, there will be a Wild Card entry: Each team will be given a Wild Card entry where they can enter a third person in any ONE event with no minimum standard. The Wild Card entry should be emailed to rodcamden@comcast.net - be sure to list last name, first name, sex, event and performance for the Wild Card entry.

**If you have not entered via Direct Athletics before, click on the link marked New Users Click Here to set up your team account. If you need additional help, click on User Guide and Help in the top Menu.

Special Notes to remember:

When entering individuals. Check the boxes next to the events for this athlete. Type in entry times/marks or leave the box blank for no time/mark. Click "Update" to add/update this athlete's entries. Submitted entries will appear on the right.

When entering relays: For entry times, select the "Suggested Time" or type in "Custom Time". Leave the Custom Time box empty to enter no time. Select up to 8 relay athletes per Squad. Click "Update" to add/update relays for this event. Submitted entries will appear on the right.

Entry Fees

$120 per single gender team (7 or more athletes).
$220 per combined boys and girls team.

$10 per individual or relay.

$25 per relay

To ease the entry process, print this form (Dogwood Entry Fee Form) and mail it with your entries. This can be used as a record for your athletic department.

Your team will not compete without submitting a check by the start of the meet. If you plan to pay on arrival, please email the meet director dogwoodtrackclassic@gmail.com with very specific information before hand. This has been a problem in the past; you must have paid your entries before your athletes compete. Thanks so much for your cooperation.

Meet Sanctioning:

This meet will be sanctioned to allow all schools from Virginia and schools from as many border States and DC as possible. We WILL allow category 3 private schools from Virginia, so this will exclude Maryland and Kentucky. If your State has specific rules or regulations that you wish to address, please contact the meet director.
